Class of 2010::Matt and Nick

This Saturday I went downtown with Matt, Nick, and Nick's mom Lynn. Here's some pictures for you to preview, guys!

I've known Matt since elementary school--it was crazy taking his senior pictures! He's all grown up.

This shot is probably my favorite from all of them. The guys had fun showing off their soccer tricks and it was fun getting some action shots--not used to that in a senior picture photoshoot.

Nick's pictures are going to be fun to edit. Two days before the photoshoot, he got kicked in the nose and had to get stitches. Thank goodness for photoshop!

It was great hanging out Saturday morning. Hope you guys enjoyed your preview.
Have an awesome senior year!

Elegant Sailboats

I took this picture back in July but never had a chance to edit it.

Now that work has slowed up a bit I can go back to more artistic photography.

Families :: The Charles

Last week Thursday Raenu, Nithya, Rupa, their mother Anita, and I went my favorite park to take portraits of the girls. I've spent my whole summer with these girls and we've had some good times, but that night was probably one of the best. While they didn't want to pose too much, we did get some beautiful shots (which isn't hard with girls that are as pretty as they are!)

We also took some pictures in their backyard since the sun started to set too early for me to get all the shots I wanted.

Stunning!

Adorable!

Beautiful!

Thanks for letting me take your pictures, girls--and don't be surprised if I pull my camera out more this week then I have in the past. It's our last week together this summer, but I'm sure I'll be seeing you around, especially since we live to close to each other.

Amanda :: Class of 2010

Saturday morning I met with Amanda downtown to take her senior pictures.

Doesn't she look absolutely fabulous?

Gorgeous smile!

I had a great time taking your pictures, Amanda!
Hope you enjoyed your preview--have an excellent senior year.

Zac :: Class of 2010

Well, these aren't technically his senior pictures, but Zac and I both decided that I was seriously lacking in great pictures of guys, so we headed downtown for a mini photoshoot. Besides, I needed some more practice with my DSLR--I'm still getting used to the manual focus (and loving every second of it!)

There's always one picture that I can hardly wait to get home and start editing, and this is it! There's something about the coloring and the expression on his face that I really like.

And, last but not least...

POOP!!!

Thanks again for letting me borrow your face and for doing the driving, Zac!

Natasha :: Class of 2010

After a week long vacation and a stubborn computer, I'm finally able to put up these pictures of Natasha--doesn't she look adorable? Sorry about such a long wait!

How do you get holy water?

Last Saturday I headed over to the park with Melissa, Jamie, Jess, and Beth. We were a little afraid that the lighting wouldn't be in our favor, but I think that these pictures turned out gorgeous!

Because of computer difficulties, I have less pictures edited than I would like. I wanted to post a few tonight and then post a few more in the next couple of days.

Today I purchased my very first SLR--a Nikon D50 with a 17-55mm lens. It's going to take a bit for me to be able to use it comfortably, but at least I won't feel silly carrying around my point and shoot (even if it takes excellent pictures).

Hope you girls enjoyed the preview!

Class of 2010: Rachael

Last Saturday Rachael, her mother, and I went to Spring Grove park. I was a little nervous because not only had I not been able to look over the park in order to get some ideas the night before because of a wedding at the park, I had gotten an awful flat tire that morning and my grandpa had to bring me. Even with a rocky start, once we started taking pictures everything went right. Here are a few of my favorites!

Hope you enjoyed your preview, Rachael. Have a great senior year!

An Evening with the Bakers

I couldn't have asked for a better first-time family portrait. Here are some of my favorites:

Charlie is a trooper! He was sick off and on all weekend and even got sick while we were taking pictures, but look how great that smile is. Thanks, buddy.

Hope you enjoyed your preview--thanks for letting me take your pictures.

The Beautiful Miss Sarah

What a dream to photograph! Sarah and I had a blast running through the park; that is, until the mosquitos came out. Twenty mostquito bites and one chocolate covered cherry blizzard later, I did the finishing touches and I'm so proud of how these turned out. Thanks for the photoshoot, Sarah!

Hello

I'm going to use this blog to post pictures I've taken for people, as a preview, or pictures that I've taken just for the fun of it.

poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his
